How long does the certification process take? The two main factors that determines the speed at which certification takes place are the number of environmental initiatives under way and the level of engagement and dedication of the hotel staff. It is very possible to attain certification in a six month period.  |

Will I have to employ an environmental engineer? |

Will this process add a lot of work to my already busy staff? We have worked in the hospitality industry for many years and appreciate the many responsibilities of hotel staff. After working with many hotels we have designed our process to have as minimal an impact on their time as possible. |

How is the information managed? The certification criteria and their attainment are monitored by our comprehensive online management system. |

Who is on the independent panel? The independent panel is made up of scientists and academics who are experts in the field of environmental social sciences. |

How much does a certification cost? There is a per property certification fee, an annual re-certification fee, and a monthly service fee. These costs depend on the size of the property. |

Do you provide training? We provide systems training enabling the property to utilize our online management system. Additional environmental training is available through our network of associates. Please contact us with specific requests.  |
