Based on internationally recognized documents, the Green Hotel Certification incorporates the guidelines and recommendations of the following documents:

- XXISO (International Standard Organization) 9001 / 14001

Independent advisory board consisting of industry and non-industry members. The board monitors all certifications and verifies our efforts on an ongoing basis.
Participation in hospitality industry trade shows, conferences and think tanks. Green Hotel Certification makes every effort to attend industry events to keep abreast of trends, regulations and legislation, and to adjust certification criteria as appropriate.
Fully independent, non-biased and non-political.
Annual re-certification process is in place to assure all certification criteria are met on an ongoing basis.
